Sometimes I need to sleep on it to see how long a story stays with me. I also liked the era.

The main characters were endearing, the details of war taught me a lot about the time period without being gruesome, and the love story was oh, so sweet.

I thought the authors worked well together in creating them. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. The story unfolds at the right pace, and I was constantly turning pages to see what was going to happen next. Christmas in Paris: reductions and good deals. I liked the characters. The French national holiday celebrations are a not-to-be-missed mega summer event in Paris. Eloise at Christmastime is a 2003 American-Canadian made-for-television live-action film based on the 1958 book of the same name written by Kay Thompson and illustrated by Hilary Knight.The film was released on November 22, 2003 and was produced by Handmade Films and DiNovi Pictures for Walt Disney Television with distribution handled by the ABC Television Network. Well, it was over by Christmas, almost four years later! Oh, and did I mention the wonderful romance at the core of this book? I have a soft spot for books written in epistle format, and I loved this one. He travels one more time to his apartment in Paris with his nurse and through his reminiscences, we experience what the war was like for the soldiers in France and what it was like for those left behind. I must say I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this book! We’d love your help.

Starring Catherine Bell and Eric Close The authors do an incredible job describing the horrors of war both on the battlefield and at home while also detailing the relationship developing between Evie and Tom.

It has been successfully done before (The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society) immediately springs to mind but I’m delighted to say that these two authors have pulled this off magnificently, Last Christmas in Paris is a gorgeous read and I loved it.War changes everything--individuals, relationships, priorities, dreams--so it's not surprising that stories set in wartime are so popular and, in this case, so engrossing.
