I finally discover after going from their pages of instruction when "discontinuing" never appears, that you had to click on "OTHER" to get to any opportunity to discontinue the account.Act Blue sets its default to "recurring contribution."
The last time they simply charged my account a $250 a month recurring donation. This is so frustrating and the Democrats need to see this. Customer Service. Just complaining on the internet is insufficient. Why would an automatic payment be billed twice within a month 1 calendar apart within a couple of hours apart in those days.

They had a little money taken at first a few times and they didn't really notice. I was charged in my ApplePay by ActBlue for $6.60 -- what a weird amount. Fortunately, I spotted that in the reciept they sent and IMMEDIATELY cancelled the 'recurring' designation.
I have called and left a message and have e-mailed them twice w/o a reply. Indeed it did and I tried to back out immediately but my fingers slipped and I accidentally hit the $100 donation. Our daily email newsletter will keep you up to date. I finally noticed it after 5 months when I saw in one month's billing $55 billed three times, $20.90 billed twice, $16.50 billed twice. This is a very dishonest organization and they do a real disservice to Democrats. I don't like any organization taking advantage of me and especially in a fraudulent way.Go into your ActBlue account and unclick the box that gives monthly donation permission. There is a "large" book that lists all charity organizations and how good they really are. They are not ethical.

I do not have an account with ActBlue. Wrote to Actblue to complain, but heard not a word back. Act Blue has refunded a portion of the money. One the submit page, they demand a donation. ACTBLUE.COM is nothing more than a progressive SCAMMER preying on gullible liberals. But the same annoying problems keep recurring as It is hard to understand why ActBlue has not been more proactive in chasing down business issues, such as recurring coding errors.
